fruit jujube

These homemade treats are quick and easy to make. The agar can be found in confectionery houses or replaced with an unflavored gelatin envelope. In this case, the procedure is the same.

Ingredients

  • 250g of fruit puree of your choice
  • 200mm of water
  • 150 grams of sugar
  • 8 grams of agar

Way of doing

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan. When it comes to a boil, add the agar and stir for a few seconds.
  2. Separately, make the puree with the chosen fruit. It can be strawberry, orange, apple, peach, etc.
  3. Put the sugar in the fruit puree and mix well. Add the puree while the water is still boiling, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon until the ingredients are mixed and the preparation takes on a certain consistency. After that, take it out of the fire.
  4. Grease silicone molds or ice cube trays with neutral oil — it can be sunflower — so that the treats don’t stick. Put the mixture inside and let it cool to room temperature.
  5. Set aside in the fridge for a few hours. The treats will take on the desired consistency.
  6. Then unmold and pass each piece through the sugar. It is possible to keep them for up to a week in sealed containers.
