How to organize the breastfeeding kit?
Comfort when breastfeeding is very important. Although we know that food is necessary no matter the situation, it never hurts to want this moment to be more pleasant.
As we know, we will not always be at home with all the conditions to breastfeed. So it’s convenient to have a kit ready for when you’re out all day.
It may also happen that you need to leave the baby for a few hours. In these cases, you will have to prepare by extracting the milk first and preserving it.

Clothes for breastfeeding

During the lactation phase the breasts increase in size and weight and therefore the bra should be of the proper size.

Breastfeeding Accessories
- Milk Pump. It’s an instrument that, although it doesn’t seem necessary, can be very useful. At the beginning of breastfeeding, the mammary gland needs to be stimulated. The pump is convenient when for some reason you cannot breastfeed your baby or when you need to leave the baby with someone.
- Nipple protectors or silicone nipples. They are a silicone cover that covers the nipple and has a hole for the baby to breastfeed. They are very useful for not hurting the nipple or when it is already cracked.
- Breastfeeding pillow. Pillows are important to maintain the baby’s proper posture while breastfeeding. These pillows provide support and comfort for the baby without tiring the mother’s arms and elbows. They replace the use of pillows that do not produce the same effect.
- When you are not breastfeeding your baby, milk may leak out of your breasts, wetting your clothes and creating other types of discomfort. Breast protectors are absorbents designed especially for this. Thus, they must be placed inside the bra. It is important that they are waterproof to avoid the appearance of mycoses by maceration.
